I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven… Matthew 16:19. We live in a world where there are series of uncertainties; no one can predict what will happen at the tick of the next hour. This is why it is very dangerous to live a careless life in this world. A wise man once said, “Life is not a fanfare, but a warfare”. It will take individual preparedness with the right key to take charge at the instance of the manifestation of the wicked world.
There is a crown of glory for you, but it will take you being hopeful continually and relentlessly to experience the joy that has been set before you. Jesus faced series of affliction and pain, but he did not give up, he remained hopeful because God will never lie. Whatever He has spoken, He will do it. You and I must remain constant in trusting God. God is ever constant; man is the variable. We flip on God at the instant of uncertainty, it is crucial for you to remain connected to God in hope in order to reap the benefits of those foretold prophecies. James 1:6-8 paraphrased “Anyone who doubts (God) is like a wave of the sea tossed back and forth, and such individual will not receive anything from God. If God says that there is nothing for doubters, I bet you He will stand by His word. For by two immutable things, it is impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6: 18). Therefore, remember that scriptures cannot be broken (John 10:35).
Hebrew 12: 12 “We must keep our eyes on Jesus, who leads us and strengthens our faith throughout the period of uncertainties. He endured the shame of being nailed to a cross, because he knew later on, He would be glad He did. Now He is seated at the right side of God's throne!
The mystery of hope and continuity with corresponding spiritual and mental action in wisdom is key to surviving the series of tough situations the wickedness of this world will throw at you.
You must, of course, continue faithful on a firm and sure foundation, and must not allow yourselves to be shaken from the hope you gained when you heard the gospel…. (GNT)
Many great achievers today encountered series of tough situations, but one thing is synonymous to them. They were hopeful, they believed in the vision and what God has said concerning them. Their hopefulness was a driving force to get to their place of glory.
Kobe Bryant said “Everything negative - pressure, challenges - is all an opportunity for me to rise. The moment you give up, is the moment you let someone else win”.
Be hopeful, even when it doesn’t feel like it going to work. Dig deep and look for that push to keep going. Like late Kobe Bryant said, the moment you give up, your opponent begins to win. The point you begin to feel the intensity of the pain in your quest, don’t give up, find the inner strength to push on!
Colonel Harland Sanders began his quest to have his own business at 65 years, in his quest to sell his chicken idea to restaurant owners, he heard 1009 "no’s” before he heard his first "yes". He never gave up, but he was hopeful, and he continued to pursue his purpose. Your age regardless, be firm, fervent, and always believe in yourself. You have been created for a purpose, don’t let environmental or human negative factor hold you back. Arise and shine because you are the light of the world. Have this at the back of your mind that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God interceding for you. Romans 8:34b. Keep hope alive!
